First edition of ‘Network Partners Day’

It is within the Complex, at the heart of the Olympic Park, that was held the very first Institut national du sport du Quebec (INS Quebec) Network Partners Day.

Organized by the INS Québec and the eight regional multi-sport training centres, members of the network, the event had but one goal: gather the sport federation representatives to take part in group discussions themed “The importance of the services available for the development of your athletes”.

We opened the afternoon with a presentation on the creation of the regional multi-sport training centres from Albert Marier, Sport Advisor at the Direction du sport, du loisir et de l’activité physique du Ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur. The participants then took part in two workshops: a group discussion and a panel of medical and scientific experts. Following these workshops, members attended the intervention session by Richard Lepage, Director of Training and Performance at Cirque du Soleil.

This first experience was very rewarding for all of the partners and participants and we promise to make it an annual event.

A big thank you to all members of the INS Quebec network for their participation in organizing the event:
