Program Agent « Jouez gagnant! » (temporary position – maternity leave replacement)

Job description:

Under the supervision of the Communications Coordinator, the Program Agent manages and coordinates the daily operations of the sport promotion program “Jouez gagnant” He coordinates the administration, matching (schools and speakers), development, promotion, speaker recruitment, their training, continuous program evaluation, etc. Furthermore, the incumbent may be asked to help prepare any other events organized by INS Québec.

 

The main responsibilities related to the position are as follows:

Coordinate and deliver the “Jouez gagnant!” program in collaboration with the program partners with a view to meeting the goals set; Monitor the quality of the presentations and identify the speakers’ training needs; Recruit trainers to develop and deliver training activities; Plan and coordinate the tools needed to ensure that the program is managed properly; Collaborate with INS Québec Athlete Services to promote the program to athletes; Plan, organize and coordinate joint activities with the partner; Produce various monitoring reports (monthly update, annual report, etc.); Develop and/or research promotional tools and participate in various events in order to increase the program’s visibility; Draft and disseminate press releases to media during tours; Occasionally attend certain speeches by athlete speakers; Know and keep abreast of similar Canadian programs; Explore collaboration possibilities with various sporting events or other organizations that would be likely to contribute to the awareness of “Jouez gagnant!” in their networks; Draft the program’s service offer and ensure that it is released by the department and within communities that have already participated in “Jouez gagnant!”; Administer the budget of the “Jouez gagnant!” program ;

 

Requirements:
College degree in a relevant field: communications, administration, recreation, office automation; Minimum of two (2) years experience in project management and/or any other experience deemed relevant; Work experience with committees would be an asset; Good project management and development skills; Good knowledge of budget management; Strong knowledge of and links with the education community would be an asset; Strong knowledge of the high-performance sports environment and Quebec’s and Canada’s sports systems; Excellent communications skills; Excellent engaging leadership; Good partnership, negotiation and conflict resolution skills; Good knowledge of various office tools and software (Microsoft Office Suite); Excellent command of French and good command of English, both written and verbal; Ability to work a flexible schedule, including on weekends


Duration: Temporary position – maternity leave replacement

Location: Montreal – Olympic Park

Working hours: 35-hour work week

Start date: July 2018

Salary: An hourly wage starting at $ 18,13/hour
