The Institut national du sport du Québec presents its 2016-2017 annual report and Claude Rousseau is elected to the board of directors

Montreal, June 19, 2017 – The annual general meeting of the Institut national du sport du Québec (INS Québec) held on Thursday (June 15) in Montreal presented its 2016-2017 annual report and strategic directions for the coming years. The meeting was also marked by the election of Claude Rousseau to the board of directors of the organization.

Tom Quinn, Chair of the Board of Directors, made the following statement: “With the experience acquired since the opening of our Olympic Park Complex and a deeper understanding of our environment and our clients, we have demonstrated that we are proactive. We are continuously listening to validate the relevance and quality of our interventions and identify what must be done to upgrade our service offering.”

 

Evolving to serve you better

The 2016-2017 fiscal year was a period of consolidation for the INS Québec, which adapted its organizational structure so as to work even more closely with the sports sector and its network of partners. The pursuit of growth and the expansion and diversification of its fields of intervention in order to improve the performance of athletes and trainers has paid off. According to an Own the Podium survey, INS Québec is recognized as the Canadian institute that has achieved the most significant improvement in its relationships with sports.
