Technical Coordinator, Digital Learning Platform

Job description
INS Québec is looking for a technical specialist in digital learning environments to manage, optimize, and develop its online training platform (Docebo).
As a member of the professional development team, the incumbent acts as the primary technical reference for the platform. They oversee its performance, structure, integration of online training content, and overall user experience. They work closely with the project manager responsible for coordinating and planning initiatives related to the platform.
The position involves responsibility for the technical architecture, configuration, and operational execution of the platform. It is suited to candidates with a background in information technology who are comfortable with cloud computing environments (SaaS), digital content integration, and technical problem solving.
The main responsibilities related to the position
- Technical administration of the LMS (Docebo)
- Act as super administrator of the platform;
- Manage users, roles, groups, permissions, and automated registrations;
- Configure and maintain system settings, automation rules, and integrations;
- Test, deploy, and document updates and new features;
- Follow up on technical incidents, bugs, and support tickets with the vendor;
- Produce and extract usage reports and support the analysis of learning data.
- Platform architecture and optimization
- Propose effective structures for the platform (catalogues, courses, hierarchy, registration rules, automation);
- Design, implement, and develop the architecture and organization of the LMS;
- Optimize navigation, user experience, and training delivery logic;
- Ensure the consistency and overall performance of the digital learning environment.
- Integration of e-learning content
- Integrate, test, and deploy developed modules, particularly with the Articulate 360 suite;
- Ensure technical compliance of content (SCORM, xAPI, progress tracking, multi-device compatibility);
- Perform functional and technical tests before going live;
- Diagnose and correct integration or data tracking issues.
- Technical project coordination
- Work closely with the LMS project manager to plan deployments and prioritize requests;
- Coordinate technical aspects with content experts, instructional designers, and external partners;
- Participate in project meetings and ensure compliance with technical deadlines;
- Work effectively in a multi-project environment with multiple simultaneous deliverables;
- Document technical configurations, processes, and standards.
- Internal support and training
- Provide first-line technical support to users;
- Train internal resources in the use of the LMS platform (features, best practices, technical limitations);
- Create documentation and technical user guides.
- Technology monitoring and continuous improvement
- Monitor LMS, e-learning standards, and authoring tools;
- Recommend technological improvements to optimize performance and user experience.
Desired profile
Above all, we are looking for someone with strong technical expertise and the ability to work comfortably in complex digital environments, all within a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- DEC, AEC, or university degree in information technology, multimedia, educational technology, or a related field;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in LMS administration (Docebo—a major asset);
- Experience in e-learning content integration (SCORM, xAPI);
- Experience with the Articulate 360 suite (Storyline and Rise);
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues;
- Experience collaborating with multiple non-technical stakeholders.
Key technical skills
- Management of web platforms and SaaS environments;
- Systems architecture logic and structuring of digital environments;
- Data analysis and reporting;
- Functional testing and technical validation;
- Knowledge of HTML (and ideally CSS) for adjustments and integrations—a significant asset.
Assets
- Project management experience;
- Knowledge of the sports sector and professional training;
- Basic understanding of UX/UI or digital accessibility.

- High degree of autonomy and sense of priorities;
- Ability to explain technical concepts in layman’s terms;
