Dr. Mickey Moroz appointed Team Canada’s Chief Medical Officer for the 2026 Commonwealth Games

The Institut national du sport du Québec (INS Québec) is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Mickey Moroz, a physician at INS Québec, as Team Canada’s Chief Medical Officer for the 2026 Commonwealth Games. This recognition is a testament to his expertise, commitment, and dedication to the health and performance of high-performance athletes.

Dr. Moroz has extensive experience working with Canadian athletes on the international stage. He has accompanied athletes to the 2023 Francophonie Games, the 2025 Junior Pan American Games, the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, and the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
