INS Québec announces partnership with ÉTS’s itechsanté

INS QUÉBEC AND ITECHSANTÉ JOIN FORCES TO PROMOTE
RESEARCH AND INNOVATION IN HEALTH AND PERFORMANCE

The Institut national du sport du Québec (INS Québec) is proud to announce a partnership with itechsanté at the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), an initiative aimed at stimulating collaborative research and innovation in the fields of health, performance, and sports science.

This collaboration will strengthen exchanges between engineers, researchers, sports scientists, and health professionals by pooling the expertise of INS Québec and ÉTS. As a partner of itechsanté, INS Québec will benefit from privileged access to activities, promoting exchanges between research and the field. This partnership will also offer the Institute the opportunity to welcome engineering students and interns, while having access to innovation grants and cutting-edge technologies.

“This partnership is in line with our mission to support excellence and performance through science and innovation. By collaborating with itechsanté, we hope to increase innovation and technological development for the benefit of high-level Québec and Canadian athletes,” said François Bieuzen, Director of Sports Science at INS Québec.

 

“This alliance is a continuation of the extensive research and innovation work carried out over several years in collaboration with ÉTS and marks a new stage in INS Québec’s contribution to the well-being, health, and performance of athletes. It also confirms INS Québec’s leadership role in sports-related research and innovation, both in Québec and across Canada,” said Thomas Romeas, Lead of Research and Innovation at INS Québec.

 

“The arrival of INS Québec among our partners fits perfectly with itechsanté’s vision, which aims to create a dynamic ecosystem where research-based knowledge meets the needs of the field Together, we will advance thinking and practices in maintaining health and optimizing performance.,” said Christian Casanova, Vice-President for Research and Partnerships.

This partnership demonstrates the commitment of both organizations to making Québec a center of excellence in performance, well-being, and innovation.
