Athlete Services

Individual Athletes

You are considered an individual athlete when you are NOT part of a High Performance Training Group or a “Next GEN” training group supported and funded by INS Québec.

Public list of recognized practitioners

Browse the list of professionals accredited by the Institut National de Sport du Québec and the Regional Multi-Sport Training Centres and working with athletes identified as Excellence, Élite and Relève.

Retired Athletes

The athlete who decides to retire from top-level sport must notify the actors from the sports world that supports him.

Visiting Athletes

As part of the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Sport Institute Network (COPSI Network), INS Québec can host athletes from the rest of the Canada passing through Québec. These athletes must be identified by their federation and registered to another member of the COPSI Network.

Insurance program

In order to subsidize the various sports medicine needs of athletes, we are now offering Bronze coverage under the Canadian Athlete Insurance Program (CAIP) to carded athletes and those recognized as Excellence athletes by INS Québec.
