In anticipation of the October general election in Quebec, Institut national du sport du Québec (INS Québec) is asking Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ), the Parti Libéral du Québec (PLQ), the Parti Québécois (PQ) and Québec Solidaire (QS) to make their intentions known regarding sport development, especially for high performance sport. INS Québec recently sent them a summary of the high-performance sport community’s expectations in a document entitled, “Pour un Québec performant” (“A better performing Quebec”). The Institut took this opportunity to call for a meeting with the political parties in addition to inviting them to take turns presenting their intentions to members of the high-performance sport community.
